Jim Wilson has spent 20-plus years in executive management with a track record of success in launching, scaling, and transforming businesses in media, content, and technology. His cross-industry experience spans advertising (TV, Connected TV, out of home), gaming, video, and music. He has extensive board, public company, corporate development, and transaction experience.
Jim is currently the CEO of Talon US, an out of home (OOH) advertising services, technology and data solutions leader and a division of London-based, private equity backed Talon Global. Under Jim’s leadership, Talon US has achieved accelerated growth through key national, regional, and local agency and client partnerships.
Previously, Jim served as President of Premion, a joint venture between TEGNA and Gray Television, the first-in-market streaming TV advertising platform, that he founded and scaled quickly to become a market leader. Before that, he launched Universal Studios’ games business and delivered global hit games. As CEO of Atari, he led its successful transformation from a retail to digital publisher and restructured its parent company leading to its sale. As COO of TouchTunes, he delivered new growth ahead of its sale. Earlier on, he held management roles at Universal Studios, Sony Wonder and Disney. He is a graduate of Loyola University and Harvard Business School.
