Phil has chaired the judges at our annual DADI Awards since its inception in 2006 and has an amazing knack of pulling together a truly high quality and representative collection of judges year after year.
Phil was recognised for his services to digital when he was inducted to the BIMA Hall of Fame and in 2020 he was Creativepool Influencer of the Year. Not bad for somebody who started out as a compositor in the printing industry before setting up his own type studio APT in the 1980s.
In 1994 Phil created the first podge lunch and invited 30 of the top designers in the country to attend. 27 years later there is a podge lunch for the digital, design, sport & music communities and Phil and his daughter Clare enjoy bringing the great and the good together every year and having fun.
Gah-Yee is currently serving as Head of Marketing, CG Canada at Intuit, working primarily on TurboTax. As part of this role, she oversees marketing strategy and channel executions across brand and product. Previous to Intuit, Gah-Yee was Director, Account Management, Agency Operations and Marketing Channel Strategy at Scotiabank.
